In a relaxed and kind atmosphere:
- learn more about Bata drums culture and rhythms
- learn about each drums and study different rhythms of the Oro seco cycle

About your teacher :
Joannie Labelle was first introduced to Bata drumming by Alain Labrosse in Montreal, Canada. Thanks to him, she then studied in Havana, Cuba, with masters Raul Lali Brito Gonzalez (Clave y Guaguanco), Alberto Villareal (Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba) and Roland Salgado Palacio (Afro Cuban All Stars). Then, she took part of a Montreal Yoruba Choir, Ilu Ladé, led by André Dupuis, a local master sacred batalero in Cuba. All respect to these masters and educators.
Please register by paying your Workshop in advance, before October 1st, 2020.
A minimum of three participants is required.
And a maximum of seven participants is allowed.

Cancellation and modification policy
Cancellation and full refunds are possible more than 10 days prior to the Workshop.
Within 10 to 5 days prior to the Workshop, half of the fee will be reimbursed.
Within 5 days prior to the Workshop., no reimbursement will be granted.
Masks are mandatory during the workshop. A distance of 1,5m will be assured between each participant.
In case of coronavirus symptoms, the participant will not be allowed to participate in the Workshop. Full reimbursement will take place (-10 euros for processing).
